Very unfair business practices @ the bay gift registry

Really annoyed with the Bay Gift Registry - my mother ordered three dining sets on sale. They sent 1 and then "cancelled" the rest of the order. Now they won't honour the price. How awful is that?? And don't get me started on the snooty service I've received. VERY unhelpful and in fact, I'm considering removing our registry completely. This is riduculous. That means that anytime someone buys something on sale, they could just "cancel" the order. What recourse do I have?

    It's good to hear that the bay came to their senses and honour the pricing that was quoted to you. Thats the only company so far to do this. Hope the other 2 sets were shipped to your guest.

    Thanks for the replies. So they called me back to say they WOULD honour the original price, and although there apparently are more than 100 pieces "in the warehouse", there is no guarantee the order won't be cancelled again. Honestly, I would NOT recommend registering at the Bay.

    Agree with the previous posters, that is super weird and annoying! I don't understand why they'd do that. I would definitely move my registry - don't need that extra stress!

    Did they say why they cancelled the other 2? It seems odd to send one and not the others.
