Venue not booking for 2023 yet

I ran into this when we were looking for a venue, they only booked 1 year in advance. Since the first priority for any wedding is the venue we decided to look elsewhere, and found the perfect venue!

The booking dates for the next may start at a different time based on their timings. It would be good to leave your information to get the pricing when they are ready to book for 2023.

Our venue did the same thing with us when we wanted to book in 2018 for our 2020 wedding. As soon as 2019 came, they contacted us letting us know they were taking new clients and that we could now book for 2020.

I would give them your info so they know you're very interested and when they do start booking for 2023, contact them right away to secure your date. I wouldn't worry too much right now, once you have your date in place, then you can start looking for your other vendors.

This samething did happen to me last year. They said they weren't booking for the date I wanted because they weren't sure if they were going to renew their lease, so I should check back with them in March. However they contacted me in January and told me I can book now. I was worried but glad they did get back to me. I also appreciated that they were upfront with me and it wasn't all about the money.
