My fiancé and I are looking to find a cottage venue in Ontario, we’re on a tight budget so we’ve been looking on Airbnb but their policy is that you can’t have parties or events. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do, or if you have a venue in mind, for ceremony and reception as well. TIA ❤️

    I know you're in Sarnia area, but check out Serenity Cottage in the Owen Sound area on Georgian Bay. It's lovely and you could treat it as a mini vacation too since you have use of the home with 8 bedrooms so room for lots of people to stay as well. This is their website:

    Try Delmonte in the Pines, speak to JoAnn. Now with cottages you also have to rent the rooms. We were going to have it there and she is amazing to deal with but we decided not to as we didn't want the majority of our guests to have to travel too far from home.

    It may be difficult to find a venue that is available during peak season and a lot of cottages/resorts will want you to book the full establishment.
