Venue Help!!

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum, but have been scrolling through many of the discussions looking for anything that would help me in figuring out the "venue dilemma". My FH and I are both from Toronto but now live and work in Florida. Most of our family and friends are in Ontario, so we decided to have our wedding here. We are trying to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception; preferably all in the same place. We have approximately 200 people on our guest list. We are looking to get married in the Summer 2020. I researched many venues in the GTA and found them to be crazy expensive. So I checked out venues in the Hamilton to Niagara region and found 2 venues that fit our budget: Club Roma and Carmen's. If anyone can send any recommendations or have any insights on these venues or any other venues, I would be greatly appreciative! Thank you so much!

    Oh pretty!!! I booked with Paradise on Friday and our wedding date is September 12, 2020! And we bought a house the same day! Talk about a very expensive Friday! Lol. Any tips for decor and florists?

    I had mine at The Terrace Banquet Centre and it was great! Have you booked your wedding yet or are you still searching for a venue?

    Did you have your wedding at Paradise? If so, can you tell me about the food and venue? What kind of decor do they have? What does their outdoor ceremony space look like? Any information that you can provide will be helpful!

    Sorry for the late reply! Hope you are well. Thank you for your response. I saw the Paradise Banquet Hall and I was pleased with their prices. Did you get married there? I'm hoping that they are attentive and are flexible. I've been reading horror stories about some venues! I also wanted an outdoor ceremony site that's not going to cost an arm and a leg!

    No insight on those venues but there are reasonably priced venues in the GTA (Woodbridge specially!). Paradise Banquet Hall seemed to be the most reasonably-priced one (around $108/pp for a Saturday in the summer; includes open bar, appetizers, plated dinner, and late night stations).

    Thank you Casey! I'd love to hear about your experience with the wedding specialists, food tastings, etc. We are flying home at the end of the month to check them out. I like that Club Roma is an "all-in-one" venue. The grounds are beautiful.
    Carmen's seems great too, but I will have to find a ceremony venue and a place to take pictures.

    Congrats and welcome to Wedding Wire!
    We are having our ceremony and reception at Club Roma in about a month! Our ceremony is outside and reception inside. Honestly it was the best price we found in the area that does pretty much everything under one roof!
    Open bar is part of the package, all your food, you can pick from their decor that they have or bring your own.

    As for Carmen’s, I know many people who have gone to weddings or conferences there and the space is beautiful! Just unsure of their packages and stuff!
