^ Before Covid I choose to get married in Cabo at the Rio Santa Fe. My fiancés family lives in Mexico and it was a quick flight for them, and the hotel wasn't to expensive but still 5 stars.
Because of Covid I have decided to get married in my parents backyard. Made it easier to plan everything and we could do the covid wedding our way(I work in health and close to a by law officer that has gone over my wedding plans). My mom, dad and I have done lots of gardening and it will be amazing.

I have always wanted to get married on the beach with the water behind me. I wanted all my family and friends to be there and having fun.... I am sad, but glad. Very odd feeling.

v What is something that you have done that is covid friendly for your wedding? Something you would have never done pre-covid, but are very proud of now (eg. centre piece, bar buckets .....).

^ I really loved the look of the venue online and their food is amazing! It was the first place we looked at and we didn’t have to see any others after that. They’ve also been super great about handling COVID.

v what has your favourite part about planning been?

^ I just ordered a bunch of stuff online and they're not using Canada Post so yes! My neighbourhood has seen a rise in porch thieves and some delivery companies tend to just chuck the package on the driveway or lawn instead of actually ringing the bell or putting inside the screen door.

> I'm online-window shopping for potential accessories. Looking at watches and debating if I want a wrist watch or a pocket watch.
