Using silver and gold in wedding venue

Our wedding venue has beige walls, the bar is brown, and the floors are brown. We originally wanted to do a silver and purple wedding but silver doesn't fit the venue. Will it look ok if we use gold chivari chairs, silver charger plates, purple napkins, clear vase with flowers and white lantern for centrepiece with some silver fairy tea lights, gold sequins over the centre table where myself and groom will sit, and mostly white lanterns hanging from ceiling but 25% gold. Is it ok to mix and match the silver and gold in this way?

    I like mixed metals! You could also use some mercury glass decor to tie everything together!

    I think it would look very unique! I say give it a shot Smiley smile Have the venue do a little mock up as Erin suggested. Or ask if you can view the next wedding that is held there to see how they decorated it. That's what we did with our venue room and our decorator. She did a wedding just recently in the room our reception is in and we loved it. It was honestly everything we wanted for our wedding. Helped give us an idea of what we thought we wanted and didn't.

    I believe mixing metals is now fashionable. I agree with Erin to do a sample and see how you like it.

    I think it'll be fine. If you are worried at all, do a little mock up of what things will look like and decide if you like it.
