Using a dj

Hank, on March 16, 2020 at 10:45 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 4

Is anyone else using their DJ to cue music for their ceremony? If so, how much are you being charged extra for them to do so?

Our DJ is going to be our MC at no extra charge.

Some other quotes started at $50. - $150.

We had our DJ handle the music for our ceremony. They played some light classical music while people were getting seated. then they played our songs for the precessional, license signing and recessional. They charged us an extra $100 for the ceremony music.

I did arrange a DJ for the wedding and reception due to the fact we wanted music for guests to enjoy while waiting and for our entrance. It was worthwhile to be there early and for them to set up after the whole ceremony was done at the reception area. I paid $995 for the whole day.
