Hey everyone!

Were having a small wedding, and only need transportation TO the venue (about 20min travel time). As of right now, most of the limo companies will charge for a 5 hour minimum (around 450-500&dollar

. However, we really can’t afford the extra expense especially if we’re not going to need the full services they are offering. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative ways to get to our venue with 6 people? Thanks so much in advance?

Oh really, I thought I saw a different of 2 hours minimum. Maybe look to rent a luxury car for the day, should be cheaper.

I guess so - unless you had other places for them to take you such as a photo shoot spot. Personally, I don’t have the need for that, which is why I’m trying to find an alternative means of transportation.

Wait. So with the 5 hour minimum are you paying them to sit there until the ceremony is over, sit there until pictures are done, etc? I may be rethinking the idea of a limo now lol

Is this just for you and your future husband? If so, just get a cab or uber. No limo service will be worth a short distance one way trip.
If you need one for the bridal party as well, depending on how big the group is you can get a van cab.

Hello Erin,
You only need it for like 30 minutes? Or if you can get a few hours out of it for all transportation needs? If the vehicle is for renting for a day, maybe you can check a vehicle rental company for a vehicle that can sit at least 8 people (have some space).
