I know a lot of people want their ideal wedding with the basic wonderful traditions .
Great!
I have a dilemma (my pop) who passed in 2017 was my everything there I am walking myself down the isle which I’m very okay with .
As for the parent dances I had asked my partner if he was okay with not doing this as I have no one worth taking my pops role (not being harsh just the way I see it) there fore if he did the dance with his mom it would make it a little saddening / awkward for me . I feel like she will not be okay with this ... again am I being harsh ? I just want opinions . Thanks so much ladies & gents

I would maybe have a conversation with your mother in-law about how you feel about the dances. She might see your side of things and be ok with not doing mother-son dance.
