Toronto Photographer Permits

Melissa, on April 29, 2021 at 18:18 Posted in Ontario 0 2
Hi all! We were looking at photography permits within the city and saw that lots of Toronto parks have a maximum occupancy of 10 people, indicated by the permit. That seems really low — especially for a bridal party! Has anyone had their pictures taken in a Toronto park, and did you exceed that 10-person limit? If so, where?!?!

Parks and outdoor spaces may have the limit of 10 people restriction. Until things do change for the shots to make numbers go higher will be notified and safe to know you can proceed with the plan. Pictures can be inquired based on the city to know if you are permitted. Its hard to say which parks they allow and not allow depending on the area. Something to check out if you are going this route.

I wonder if maybe that's just for covid? I would imagine people would exceed that number regularly, especially if they're doing family photos on top of wedding parties. Are you able to call and see what their normal rules are?
