Toasting The Bride

As a two time co-MOH our speeches were a toast to the relationship, and welcome to our new "brother-in-law". My besties will be doing the same for us.

Wedding party speeches can make a toast to the couple. The parents of the families too and whom ever is giving a speech. This would be a first to hear of toasting to the bride. I thought the couple is being toasted together and not separately.

Any wedding I have attended family wise, I have heard the couples name in general and some personal comments about the bride being a sister or a new member to be in the family or something to that affect.

Like Allison said, I would think that this speech is covered by the MOH and the BestMan gives one for the Groom.

I assume this would be the MOH perhaps, she'd give a speech about knowing the bride, and wishing her well in Married life.

my MOH and another bridesmaid are making a speech together, the best woman will toast the groom, My parents will toast both of us and so will his dad. Finally, we'll thank everyone for coming and supporting us. Our MC is going to start off speeches with a small one of his own to get the speeches going.
