Tips on meal planning!

Melanie, on August 19, 2018 at 20:14 Posted in Wedding reception 0 6
Hello,
So I was just curious on any ideas on meal planning!? Thinking of doing a buffet idea between 2 main meats. One sea food the other chicken. Our families are big sea food waters... Except my self as I'm allergic. Figured salads and veggies would all be same. My question is, when I send out invitations could I put a "vote" card on either fish or chicken? Just looking for options and ideas!

Thanks

What about just taking a poll from your immediate families and wedding party? you would have to be very clean and make sure it don’t come across as “pick your meal” so that guests dont get confused if they picked chicken but show up and fish won the vote so no chicken to be found.

Also, if you have an allergy to seafood I as a guest would not be upset if you skipped it at your own wedding (and I do love seafood).

I don't see an issue with putting fish and chicken seperate lines to see how many of the invitees choose what meat.

You could even put it in your Wedding Website as a poll question?

I'd definitely feel it out with asking. You could have some cute wording to ask on the RSVP.
