Hello all,

So as my wedding slowly creeps up to the 2 digit line, I'm starting to get the final confirmation emails from some of my vendors.

So it's time to think of the agenda for the day.

Out of curiosity, how does everyone else have their agenda plan out for their wedding day?

I can't believe my FH and I will be married in 88 days!!!! Smiley love Smiley ring Smiley diamond

    Thanks Emilie.

Yeah, we are planning on doing a first look. Still in the process of finalizing the place to do that.

And you remembered correctly, there are several traditions we have to go through before the official ceremony. Hair and makeup will be done first thing in the morning, then proceeding with the chinese traditions for the morning. It's going to be a fun filled day *hopefully Smiley tongue

Do you think you'll do first look?

I remember you also have a few traditions to include in here... Will you put them in the morning before hair and makeup?

That's so exciting that you're so close! Some tips for your timeline:

-Understand that it's a general guideline and while you should try to stay on track for the most part, don't get too stressed when there are things that are out of your control!

-Give a copy to all your vendors, including your venues so that they know what to expect. Also give a copy to your Best Man and Maid of Honor on your wedding day so that they're in the loop and can help you stay on track while you're getting ready.

-Give yourself more time than you think you'll need! You may think you only need 5 minutes to walk from one place to another but give yourself a little extra time because things might pop up like your photographer sees the perfect opportunity for a shot and wants you to stop for a moment or you need to rest your feet for a minute after standing for so long, etc. Also, when trying to gather everyone, it takes longer than you think!

-Add in cell phone numbers for your vendors on your timeline so that you can call them if they're running behind. (That way you don't have to go searching through emails and have the info all in one place.)

-Ask your vendors how much time they'll need for things because they have more experience than we do! My hair/makeup vendor made their timeline for me and then I just assigned who was getting their hair done at what time. I asked my photographer how much time she would need to take shots of the decorations and wedding spaces in addition to our getting ready pics so we could determine what time they would be arriving. (And this will help you to see if your package covers the entire time you want. We ended up adding an extra hour so that everything we wanted was captured.)

Here are screenshots of mine. (I'm an event planner so it may be a little more detailed than the average bride but I figured it'd be helpful to know!) I made mine into a Google doc and shared it with my vendors so they could see when we made changes and I didn't have to keep emailing them the most current version.

Wedding Wire has a great timeline generator - https://mktg.weddingwire.com/ideas/wedding-timeline/?utm_source=image&utm_medium=uberflip&utm_campaign=spring15 - !! Thankfully I don`t have many vendors so there`s not TOO much to coordinate!

88 days!! So freaking exciting!!!! Smiley xd (I`m down to 94)
