How far is your ceremony venue from the place you are getting ready and doing your make up? Would there be a rush hour traffic jam that you need to consider? When are you doing your pictures? How long does it take you to get into your dress? If you have a headpiece, is it tricky to put on? I think these are some questions that would help figure out your timeline for getting ready. Even if your ceremony site is close to where you are getting ready and your dress is easy to get into, allow at least half an hour for unexpected little events. Maybe someone else is running late or someone forgets something when you're about to get out of the door.I don't know your wedding details and I have no intention whatsoever to stress you out but my understanding is that you should plan about 3 hours for getting ready on your wedding day. How exciting that you are so close to that day! Smiley smile

The ceremony is at the same place as the venue. we are getting married outside of a church and we have the church hall for our venue. I am getting ready @ the venue except for my Hair which I will be doing at a salon. My dress is tea length so I shouldn't take that long to get into it. My veil will be easy to put on. it's a headband with the veil attached to it. Our wedding is @ 7 pm. I have 98 days left until our day. I'm just trying to get the timeline in place so I know what time to do things. I have a bad neck, so I want to make sure I can lay down for an hour before I have to get ready. Thank you for your response.

Do you have to go somewhere or are they coming to you? I would ask them how long they need and try to go from there. If you can, I would do my nails really early or the day before so it's out of the way.

I am thinking of doing our nails the day before and have Our hair done at the salon. I have someone coming to do our Makeup that day. just trying to think of a time line.. I don't want to get ready too early either.
