The place card conundrum

Variety!!! I don't want any 2 flowers to be beside eachother. I'd love a different flower at every seat at the table... but that's just not happening (mainly because I couldn't find 10 different flower patterns I liked/ weren't ridiculously complicated)

That sounds perfect! Are you going to do the same flowers for the same table or do a variety?

Thanks! I decided to do the names propped up like the picture. Someone on here pointed out that it would be easier to see and people wouldn't have to strain to read the leaves... which was an EXCELLENT point! I was overthinking it and not thinking about the guest experience on that one.haha. I haven't tested any out yet though... maybe I'll do that on the weekend.. for people I KNOW are coming, like parents and wedding party.

Those are awesome! I'm so impressed! Did you decide how you're doing the names for them? Are you going to add leaves or insert a label with their name on it?

I had a very productive (and busy!) week off over the holidays... I started making my place card flowers... I'm up to about 30 made (out of 90 needed). I'm going to make some roses too, but otherwise I think I'll just stick to the flower types I have pictured and just make more

Oh I'll be doing different flowers than the ones pictured, it's more for the "other" stuff (like leaves and junk)

The flowers you posted are SO pretty! But unless I get a svg file to make my cutting machine do all the work, it's WAY too much work for me!

That sounds like fun! I also like the first picture you posted where the flower is kind of holding the name and think that would look nice but love them on the leaves as well! I do like flower 2 above but I think it's because I like the flower better, not because it's more work.

Or you could do something like this but make the leaves bigger to fit the name.

I vote more work- those flowers (exactly as shown, or names on a leaf) are beautiful!

The cut out names are pretty too, so it won't be a bad thing if you choose the easier route.

I love the first photo, makes their name stand out ... and the flower will be beautiful !
