The Guest List: Who's in, and who's out??

Lynnie, on November 20, 2017 at 09:05 Posted in Wedding Tests 0 5

Oh the dreaded guest list...

No matter what your wedding plans look like, finalizing the guest list is probably one of the most difficult planning tasks there is. Yes, it’s hard to whittle down your and your partner’s friends and family members to fit your dream venue and actual wedding budget, but it's gotta be done!

If you’re having trouble cutting back your guest list, we have some suggestions...

It's time to find out who made the cut!!

Are you inviting kids?

Are you inviting co-workers?

Are you inviting extended family?

Are you inviting new boyfriends and girlfriends?

Are you inviting your parent's friends you've never met?

Are you inviting friends from college?

Are you extending reciprocal wedding invites?

Are you inviting your exes?

Well I can say it was quite interesting making the guest list lol:

    1. Yes to kids, I couldn't say no to them.

    2. Yes to some ex co-workers who are now close friends, does that count?

    3. Have to invite the extended family!

    4. New bf/gf...no

    5. MIL had a say and so she invited some of their friends...not happy but oh well

    6. No friends from college..didn't go lol

    7. Nope

    8. Hells no

We made a Plan A and a Plan B list.. just in case those from Plan A couldn't come and we needed to fill seats!

    No Kids!
2 co workers who we spend time with outside of the workplace
No to extended family, unless we see/speak to each other on a regular basis
Only inviting boyfriends/girlfriends if we’ve met them or if they live together.
    No friends from college.
No reciprocal invites, most are people we’d invite if we hadn’t been invited to theirs, and there are a few we’ve been to that we aren’t inviting.
2 if my exes will be there, we are all good friends and met my fiancé through them!
