Hey everyone! We are looking to host our own tent wedding reception, as well as outdoor ceremony somewhere outside of calgary, but wondering if there is any place out there with private land to accommodate that?

I would reach out to parks to see if they have space you can use. I'm not in AB, but I've heard of local parks in NB charging a small permit fee for using public gardens. Going for an already public space means there may already be restrooms and possibly electrical hookups nearby.

Most public parks have websites or Facebook pages where you can reach out.

You would likely need a permit for any tent on a private dwelling.
