Hey guys! I am making my own table runners, so I was wondering what size should they be? The tables we will have are round and 5ft in diameter. I was thinking about 6 feet in length so some hangs but how wide?

I would base some of the width on your centerpieces. Do you want the whole thing to fit on the runner, or can a little hang off the edge of the runner?

I like Hank's math. I would see if your centerpieces for well onto a piece of fabric folder to be approximately 1.6 ft wide.

It should be no more than 1/3 of the width of your table. So at 5ft, your runner should be no more than 1.6ft.
