We're doing something like that. I really want my sister to sit with me since I never get to see her because she lives in the USA so what we decided is to have the wedding party at the head table, but also all of their spouses too! The head table will be like an open horseshoe shape so myself and my groom will be in the middle and no one across from us, but then everone else (who will be on either side of us) will have their spouse facing them.

View quoted message This is a great idea, we are doing this as well. Also rather than being up on a riser/platform in the front of the room we are having our table placed in the middle of the room, so it's easier to visit guests too.

We’re opting for a sweetheart table!
I feel like it gives us a bit more time together just the two of us.
Also that way our wedding party can sit with their SO’s or family!

Oh I love this! I think that would be a lovely idea!

We will probably go with a traditional head table but instead of a long table, perhaps a king table setup. Then everyone can chat easily with eachother instead of the people at the end being stuck on their own. We will see!

We are opting for the sweetheart table. Our party numbers are not even and everyone has a SO so we want them to sit with them. Personally, I was at a wedding where my FH was in the party and I had to sit all by myself and felt super awkward, and I dont want that for our friends, so Im happy to sit alone with my hubby.

Im also super excited about this too because our decor lady is going give us a bit different decor than the other tables so we stand out a bit.

We decided just my fiance and I. We only have a MOH and BM so they will have a special thing on the chair they sit on to say who they are if that makes sense?


Too much drama to pick who's at our head table so just my fiance and I! 😊

Everyone is like well aren't their significant others going to feel left out and feel awkward without them. All of our friends and family will be there. They'll sit with them!

We are doing a head table and all of our bridal party's SOs will have other family or friends to sit with so they won't feel awkward at the table without their SO

We are not really doing either. Our table will be a round table like everyone else's table. I have zero desire of having a bunch of pictures taken of me while I'm eating lol. We will have our table in the middle of all the tables. The only difference will be our table has a royal blue table cloth and the rest will have the white. Our wedding party will be with us (just a MOH and BM plus their SO).
