This is super cute! A friend of ours started taking piano lessons about 4 months before their wedding and surprised his bride by playing one of their songs on the piano. It was EXTREMELY adorable and she was so surprised. Especially because they had been together for 10 years before getting married and he could not play the piano. I believe in you!!

I hope so! *fingers crossed* haha... I am trying to figure out if I can sneak away for some basic guitar lessons so I can come out playing a song, but I think that may be a bit too ambitious for 90 days. haha!

I booked a vendor as a surprise for him and all the guests (except my parents). Lakeshore Creamery will be coming during dessert. They serve ice cream and toppings out of an old fashioned trike and come dressed up with photo props etc. My fiancé and dad both love ice cream. My fiancé made a comment about ice cream as dessert when we first started looking st venues and then I stumbled on the company. So excited!

Some of these are great ideas!

I'm giving him a gift the morning of which is a little book I made about the reasons I love him. One of the groomsmen will give it to him as they get ready.

I also purchased two personalized coke bottles with our last names. His grandfather worked for coke for 50 years and passed away fairly recently. I'm planning on having them at the cocktail hour bar. I'm hoping I can ask him to go get us drinks, and the bartender will hand them those!

A few ideas below I am doing as well but he already knows about them (poutine station which is his fav food for late night, and a boudoir shoot)

I actually plan on giving him a little surprise during the ceremony!

I want to send my flower girl up with a note for him that just reads on the inside "I can't wait to kiss you" with a lipstick kiss on it!

My fiance can be very emotional and I hope it gets him as good as it does as I write this ahhaa!

I have also thought of renting a Lambo to pose with for photos on the wedding day! That's still a maybe though haha!

Oh my god, I'm doing a HUGE surprise for my partner for our reception! We are having a surprise wedding, so our family will be surprised.... BUT, I have a surprise for him.

He is a guitar player, and has been pining over a electric/acoustic guitar. He mentioned it to me off-hand one day while we were having a date night (there was a live band, so we got chatting about instruments). Anyway, he doesn't spend money on himself, and he would never be able to justify purchasing a $1000 guitar. So, I had been putting money away in my savings account, and last week I went out and purchased the guitar. It is currently hid behind my wedding dress.

So, after the ceremony, but before we sit down to eat dinner, we have a friend of ours singing/playing guitar for our reception (turning into an acoustic jam session with a my partner and a few other friends who play!). I plan to excuse myself to go to the washroom, and to come back out with the guitar, and custom guitar strap.

I'm not usually a big surpriser.... I'm terrible at keeping secrets, but I am super excited about this one! haha

Your surprise will be great giving to him. I didn't have any surprises for my husband.

I love this idea, as long as my FH doesn't ask for it himself I was thinking of surprising him with a karaoke machine - of course he loooooves karaoke so it suits him. Spitball some of his favourite things to do and maybe we can suggest some things to surprise him with?

I can think of a few surprises you could do..
-fun grooms cake/dessert
-late night meal of his favourite food(s)
-hire a band that performs his favourite band/artist
-specific type of game/entertainment he really enjoys
Pretty much look at all his like and interests and you can probably create something fun, unique and memorable for him!

As for an actual surprise at the wedding itself, I'm not too sure.. I do know that I will be surprising him with boudoir photos though, so obviously i won't be broadcasting that at the reception hahah!

What kind of surprise are you thinking? A gift of some kind or maybe hiring a band he loves but doesn't think youre getting? Something like that?
