Struggling to find a reasonable rustic venue

I’m getting married in October 3, 2026 in Port Colborne (we’re from Niagara on the lake) so it’s not too far for us. It’s called Maple Meadows Farm. It is a bit pricy but it’s a beautiful venue! I’m paying $12000 for the venue rental and the dj is included and majority of my flowers.

Many barns provide venue only - my brother used Polmenna barn in campbellford. And I love love love Century Barn.

Just curious, what kind of prices are you getting? Are you using venues that come with their own catering or are you looking to source catering separately?

I'm having the same issue! The prices on the Wedding Wire pages is never the same as what they quote me after reaching out and some of the ones that seem reasonable in price have a minimum guest requirement that is more than I plan to invite! I've even added an extra 10 people to my original number and it's still not enough.

Hi Emily check and see what WeddingWire has to offer through their search engine under wedding venues. You can narrow it down to city. You could also post in your local wedding sell/swap groups on facebook as a lot of brides are on there and could possibly give you some great ideas as well
