How do you make money for the bride and groom if you have BUY prizes?

For prizes I have often seen the prize being booze or raffle tickets

A big ticket prize could be tickets to a sporting event. Gift cards and bottles of alcohol are always good. An array of lottery scratch tickets might work for one of your games.

Our social is in June. We have a pair of beats headphones for the grand prize, then we have gift certificates for massage therapy, family photos, manicure etc. Then we have lots of art work for prizes as well. These are for door prizes and raffle prizes. But we are also doing a 50/50 draw and the pie in the face game; you have a jar for the best man and one for the maid of honor and people put money into the jar of the person they want to see get a pie in the face.

Some interesting games that have not been done before that was done at our Buck & Buck:

Bra cup toss game (bras on a wood board and toss a ping pong ball into them from a distance.

Nailing game (2 people go head to head with less number of hammering into a log wins)

Spin the wheel (different prizes and lose a turn)

50/50 raffle

Toonie nearest the bottle tossed from the line given and the winner gets the booze.

Baskets can be made for give away or raffled off.

Big thing for any Stag & Doe event is 2 bottles with the bride/groom name on each and everyone puts money in the jar to whom should get pied in the face. This is only done by the wedding party at the end.

Our Jack and Jill isn’t until September but we’ve got some prizes bought and planned. We have an Instapot, bottles of alcohol and a google home. We’ll be making a scentsy basket, a movie themed basket (cineplex gift card, popcorn, candy). Gift cards are always good as prizes (movies, LCBO, Starbucks). For sign the joker you could also do it like a 50/50 and have the prize be half the money earned from the game.
