We are selling both the tickets for the social as well as support tickets for $10. Any more and people get turned off as the regular going rate has always been $10 regardless of inflation.

Unfortunately you are not allowed to sell tickets at the door at socials because of our Manitoba liquor commission rules so I would look to see if there are any guidelines you have to follow.

Selling tickets? This is new to me. Can you explain? I’ve never heard of selling tickets for this

April 2017 was when i was told to create our buck & buck tickets and a sign too. The girls at husbands work started selling that time frame for June 3 date. Lots of people did buy in advance to support us and not want to attend. Others paid and attended to have a blast that night.

One thing i did keep in mind was placing the tickets in a envelope to know they were kept safe for those buying and had it on one place.

My wedding social is March 29th and we juuuust posted our Facebook event page letting people know when and where it is being held. We don't have tickets just yet but are actively looking and plan on selling them as early as December. That being said - that will be approx. 4 months before the social. For you I wouldn't start selling until February/March depending on what day it is.
