Stag and Doe

Jessica, on June 28, 2018 at 13:07 Posted in Before the wedding 0 9

My bridal party is planning to throw our stag and doe next year on St. Patty's Day weekend.

Any ideas on how to tie this in with our games, drinks, etc?

Also -- is anyone aware of a company that does custom tickets for events like this for decent pricing?

Thanks!

Those tickets look so great! I didn't even realize ticketmaster did custom tickets -- I guess that makes sense though! lol.

Thanks for all of the great game ideas -- I also love the idea of a costume! That would tie in the theme and make it even more fun!

We had our Jack & Jill in April, and it went off without a hitch!

We used Ticketmaster for our tickets, and they were super cute - also a good price

    Stag and Doe 1

We had quite a few games...
-The Great Canadian Whack Off. You get a block of wood, nails, and a hammer. Whoever can sink the nail completely into the wood in the least amount of hits gets a prize.
-Golf putting game - fiancé has a plank sort of thing with holes in it, and each hole has a different number above it, when you sink a golf ball into a hole, you get the corresponding number of points, and whoever has the most points at the end of the night wins a prize
-Drinko - like PIinko, but playing for drinks!
-Find the Joker. Get a deck of cards and tape them face down onto a bristol board. People pay to sign their name on a card (we did 2$ per card) and once the board is filled, whoever's name is signed on the Joker gets half the pot! We did 5 boards, and they were all full!
-Crown and anchor. We rented this game from a party store, but it was SO worth it!
-Holding up the beer cases. We had two beer cases (one for men, and one for women). You have to hold the case up in front of you with your arms out straight, and whoever can hold it up the longest takes home the case!
-Toonie toss. This was the game that we found people loved the most. We got a texas mickey, and people line up to toss toonies - the closest to the Texas mickey gets to take it home!

You could easily make everything a St. Patty's day theme by just having some deocrations, and having the wedding party wear green festive shirts!

You even put on the tickets that best costume wins a prize - that would probably get everyone in the spirit!

You need jamo. its not st pattys day without it. hahah
could even do green jello shots

the biggest hit at stag and does around here has been a plinko board. think like the game on price is right. and its super easy to make. nails and plywood. some paint. at the bottom instead of money they win. they can win a drink ticket, shots, a raffle ticket, no luck etc.
ticketmaster used to do custom tickets. but check out vista print. or even etsy for a downloaded template and then print them at staples or at home.

You should definitely have guiness stewtine (poutine covered in Guinness stew)

Seriously, it's to die for, and SO Canadian

I've heard good things about Canada ticket printing too but haven't tried them out!

Canada ticket printing does tickets (event tickets, raffle tickets, everything!) for a really great price. They did our stag and doe tickets and our raffle tickets too. They had great quality and fast shipping.

Your games can include a touch of green and have someone dressed in a Lephachon suit.

Fruity drinks can be made mixing flavours to create the colour.

Games such as ring toss, coin toss, spin the wheel and jenga could work and be fun.

Tickets can be created on windows word to be your masterpeice. I had created it myself and the girls printed it on different colour paper. It was nice looking too.

Most print shops can print tickets with a perforation that you can use! I use to work for a small print shop and we did custom tickets all the time! A Staples copy center should be able to help!!
