We are doing it as my parents, grooms dad, one of my maids of honor which is one of my sisters, best man and his wife which is my bridesmaid, my other maid of honor which is my other sister and her husband which is a groomsman and then my fiance and I will speak. All the couples speeches will be done together.

I read that traditional order is:
1) best man2) maid of honour3) father of bride or whoever is hosting/paying (as father of bride is traditionally paying for this wedding, he gives a speech) 4) lastly, the bride and groom say thank you.
That is how traditional weddings go in order with speeches. However, of you want all parents to give a speech that's fine. It was traditionally just the father of bride as he was paying, so he would say his thank yous for coming.

No way! i am definitely speaking and so is my mom! here is our order of speeches:

- best man

- maid of honour

- grooms parents

- brides mother

- bride and groom

I think our order will be like this

1) Groomsman

2) Groomsman

3) Bridesmaids

4) Best Man

5) FH's parents

6) My mum and step-dad

7) Us

Following this because I haven't given it much thought and the wedding is in 10 days!!

Our speech order we did was
1) Maid of honour
2) Best man
3) My dad and step-mom
4) My mom and step-dad
5) My husbands parents
6)Bride and groom

We don't have a set order, just whoever wants to make a speech can go up. They will be done once dessert is being served. My dad will probably go first. It will be just our parents, the best man and the MOH making speeches thankfully

We havent fully planned out our order... But we will likely do:
1. Brides parents (parents are divorced so might be two separate speeches... Tbd) 2. Grooms Family,3. Maid of Honour (if she wants to talk- will skip if she doesnt!)4. Best Man (with his wife who is a bridesmaid) 5. Bridesmaid who is close friend of both bride and groom (if she wants to talk-otherwise skip!) 6. Joint speech btw 3 groomsmen7. Bride and groom
I know it looks like a lot of speeches, but we are putting a 5 minute time limit on each so they stay short and sweet!

Our speech order is....

1. Maid Of Honour

2. Best Man

3. Parents (FH's first, then mine)

4. Bride and Groom

The weddings I have been to typically have the speeches in the same order so that's what we're going with.
