Sparklers!

Seleena, on August 7, 2019 at 13:24 Posted in DIY 0 13
I have been slacking with anything related to weddings lately. BUT, I am almost finished all my sparkler tags!
They were made using the Cricut, and then I glued sandpaper strips for the matches. I had to find “strike anywhere matches” to work with the sandpaper. The sign was from the dollar store (lol). The sparklers were pretty hard to find, but I got them online from a Canadian website called Rocket Fireworks. And the basket that I’m putting them all in was from IKEA that I spray painted.
LOOKS SO CUTE!
How is everyone’s DIY projects coming along?
Does anyone have any failed attempts they’d like to share?

Looks great! I am doing a similar idea but I’m going to have the groomsmen Hand our lighters to guests and have them light them that way.. jus figured it was easiest and safest

Ooh attaching matches is such a good idea!

We're having a sparkler exit and were wondering how we were going to get them all lit in time for photos

Thanks! Yea, the Cricut is amazing. I started all my DIYs in March or April I think. Really glad I started them early cause a lot of unforeseen things happen in life lol

That looks awesome! Cricut work never ceases to amaze me. So far I've only stained a piece of wood for our welcome sign lol. I'll probably get to most of our DIYs in the winter.
