Sons walking me down the Aisle

Since I can remember Dads are to walk the Bride to be down the Aisle. Unfortunately I just found out my Dad is unable to do just that. My Dad walked me down my first Wedding, so many years ago, 1990 to be right. So, I asked my oldest Son Roger & Youngest Son Lucas both agreed which is amazing to me. I cried because to me I am going to be Happiest when I'm together with my family.

    My step mom and her two sons do it. Her dad did her first wedding. Honestly as taken back i was it was still really adorable seeing one on each arm. You could tell it ment alot to both the boys and my stepmom.

    I'm sorry to hear that your dad can't walk you down the aisle, but I love the idea of your sons walking you down the aisle. My two older boys will be walking me down the aisle and our two younger boys will be the ring bearers.

    That’s awesome to have your sons walk you down the aisle.... I would love to have my dad walk me down the aisle but that’s impossible since I lost my father years ago so instead I have my adopted father and my nephew/godson walking down the aisle

    I have been a single mom, raising my daughter for her full 9 years on this earth. She is my everything, so It will be her walking me down the aisle along with my dad. She will also be the one to give me away. I think having your sons do this is a fantastic idea. They will feel super special being included in such an epic event. Have a great wedding day!!

    It will be different, but still very special. I plan to have my Dad walk me the first part of the walk and then have my son join us for the second have of the walk. So when I reach my husband to be both my Dad and son will be on either side of me.

    Thanks my dad is 87 so I can understand all of the getting old thing. We're all going to be that age one day. I have both parents they live in their own place. Still driving.
