Songs to dance with my 4 year old to.

During the family dances I am opting to dance with our son since my father is not in my life. He will be 4, almost 5 at the time of our wedding - what songs did you choose to dance with your little ones to? I'm hoping for something not too slow, so we can get goofy with it but with enough emotion it could possibly move people to tears lol

His favorite song currently is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" - he sings it non stop! So I decided, that it might be fun to embrace that! So we sat down and started going through YouTube. I came across this version and think it could be really fun! I bet we could even get the guests involved in the hand motions.

So far we are leaning towards "walking on sunshine" something that we can have fun with and be goofy. which is very much our relationship!

I am hoping that closer to he will have an opinion on the song but he only just turned three lol! He will be almost 5 at the time of our wedding. I have been including him when I do go through songs, having him listen to them and he will tell me if he likes it or not! haha.

It is very sweet that you are dancing with your son. Have you thought of asking him what song he would like to dance to with mummy? He may actually have a good suggestion and if not you guys could find something together.

Love the Tarzan idea. You could also start with something sweet and than pick some Disney songs to shuffle together or something fun to dance to with some simple dance moves for your so. that are fun to make it memorable.
