Song requests. Yes or No?

We have been given a link to a website that we will give our guests and they can request 3 songs they would like to hear played and then we take 1 song from each guest and have it played!

We will leave up the the DJ as we don't want to chance people picking songs we don't want to hear.

Yes! It'll make people happy to hear their songs come on, plus it's less songs for us to think of.

I'm leaving it up to the DJ but we're not announcing it in any way or asking for them in advance

We are having a live band so I imagine if people have requests they are welcome. The band is friend of the family.

Our DJ allows us to customize what they are and are not playing before hand through a website. We aren't going to ask our guests for song requests and I will leave up to the DJ's discretion on the night of but we aren't going to make an announcement or encourage it.

I can't remember what we told our DJ. I think that if it went along the lines of what he was playing and wasn't on our "no play" list, it was fine. My mom paid for the DJ as our wedding gift so we also said that she could make requests. (We did ask her before the wedding too if there were any songs she wanted played.) I don't think we had any song requests though from what I could tell. Our DJ did a really great job and everyone loved what he played!

Only if it doesn't affect the mood of the Party!!! We asked our DJ about that and he said it can be tricky sometimes and affect the mood if people request random songs. So we are leaving it to our DJ'S discretion.
