Something other than cake...

I think pie sounds like a great idea if you are not a cake fan! Your wedding, so you can do anything you want to represent yourself best ! Also I am having a dessert bar for all the guests to enjoy! we are having a small cake for us to cut and cupcakes to be served with out late night lunch! There are some great ideas that other ladies have posted on here!! I look forward to hearing what you come up!!

I think the pie idea is great. I saw on Four Weddings where a copier opted to have pizza instead of a wedding cake. A dessert bar is also a good idea as well!

A Pie! Great idea! Do what's best for you!! I love cake personally, but my Fiancee does not, we both however; love donuts. So we're thinking about doing a "Donut cake" of sorts. Haven't looked into logistics or anything yet as it's still a long ways away, but that's our thought so far. I love the idea of a pie! You can do so many pretty things with the pastry! I say go for it!

Our venue charges too much for a cake cutting fee so we decided on a crepe bar for our "cake" along with a homemade dessert bar and homemade smores! Pie sounds like a great idea as well!

It's your wedding so you should have whatever you love! Pie sounds pretty good to me and I'm a BIG cake fan!I found a few ideas that I thought you might like. The big pie with the flowers could be nice for cutting and taking pictures. Also if you are looking for more alternatives, a macaroon tower could look and taste good as well.

Yes I've definitely heard of wedding pie! You should go for it! What type were you thinking? I like that it's different but you can still have a "cut the cake" moment with your fiance!
