So I'm confused? New Ontario restrictions

We got married this past June. It was a pretty normal wedding by then. There were no limits or even masks unless guests wanted them. We could dance and it was a good time. I really don't see the restrictions coming back any time soon. Even with covid still around at least people aren't dying from it any more.

As long as your guests are healthy (hopefully vaccinated) you should be able to have a normal wedding again. Good luck. Are you all ready?

How are Ontario brides feeling?
June 4th wedding.

The covid restrictions are not getting easier neither better as it goes up or down. I really do hope you and other couples out there do get to enjoy your wedding this year soon since the restrictions are always changing giving to make the decisions harder of eliminating guests for a later date to attend as you have to make the list smaller.

My wedding is planned for March 13 and I'm not even sure what to do. I keep planning as if things will be back to at least a little bit of normalcy because I just can't imagine trying to plan for the unknown. My venue (Cambridge Mill) has been really great at sharing options. I agree that it will definitely help by talking to your venue. Let's all just send out some positive vibes.

It sucks right now to be an Ontarian as a bride. I am hoping you get your day the way you envision it to be. Are the rules right now for weddings 50% or are they totally canceled, I have lost track.

our wedding is in July and i am finding it difficult to be excited to plan. But I am back on here and slowly going through my planning checklist. praying by July restrictions are lifted.

I so suggest you talk to your venue just incase. So sorry 😔

My understanding was 50% for the ceremony (if it’s taking place in a church and etc) and then if there’s a gathering to follow it is to go according to the restricted social gathering limits… so my understanding would that it would be 5 people for indoor/10 for outdoor.

I’m not from Ontario so I’m not sure but maybe ask your venue what to see what they are doing restrictions wise!
