Small Venue Ideas in Alberta

Cheyenne, on April 25, 2025 at 00:31 Posted in Alberta 0 6
Hi everyone! My fiance and I have just started wedding planning and we're super excited. We're looking for small venue ideas for a 40-50 person wedding, somewhere in Alberta. Identify we want to keep the entire wedding under $15k. We have a few places in mind from Weddingwire already, but I'm wondering if there's some hidden jewels out there we should check out! Thank you Smiley smile

Wow, that sounds lovely! We've booked with River's Edge in the greater Edmonton area. They don't have in-house catering, but I guess it's kind of nice to have some freedom/creativity in that aspect. Like you though, we're having a tea celebration to kick off our wedding weekend and a "brew hour" instead of a cocktail hour Smiley smile

Hey! We are planning to book our wedding with Cork & Crate near Olds. They offer a beautiful Sunday brunch or tea wedding for $6000 including ceremony, reception and catering for up to 40 guests. It's such a lovely venue, totally recommend checking them out for a small wedding!

    Hey Cheyenne,

My fiancée and I are also having a small wedding. I suppose it would be more like a micro-wedding with about 20-25 guests. We had hoped to keep our budget under $12,000 but seem to be struggling with that.

How's your wedding planning going? Have you found a venue and have you had any luck with sticking to your budget? We're desperate for tips!

    Cheers,

    Chadene and Tiffany
