Thanks. It's always good to get an idea of the approximate number of non-alcoholic drinkers vs. alcoholic drinkers. We will have non-alcoholic drinks for for all guests.
That's a good idea! I have a rough sense of who the non drinkers are, but I know some young mommies will be there too (two of my coworkers are pregnant now) so idk if they'll be drinking and who will be preggo by then! I suppose I could ask on the invite, have them choose between "virgin" and "booze me up, Scotty"
Here's an idea, perhaps you could find out if there was a way to create non-alcoholic signature for those guests as an alternative. What do you think of this suggestion?
I'm really tempted to do signature drinks too, and have custom glasses as our favour! Idk what the non drinkers would do though - ask an alchy to down it and get the glass after?
We are doing open bar but I found that the venues we were looking into would charge us a venue fee if we didn't opt for the open bar. They offered us an option of a signature drink just not sure if we should do one or not now.
Thanks Melissa. I would like to hear your idea on your "spin", it's sounds interesting.

I like the signature drinks idea! Very cute.
We are still debating- I might try to find another "spin" to put on the drinks...

I WISH we could stock our own bar!!! Great find on a venue that allows it! DO they indluce a bartender or do you have to bring your own? (I think you have said before, but I don't remember).
We will give guess the option to either choose one or both. Still thinking of having a cash bar but it might change depending the outcome of the social.
Ya I don't drink and Peter fav is a monitor which is very summery not much for spring wedding. So we thought better not complicate things on trying to come up with something.
I'm thinking of doing this too! We get to stock or own bar and choose what to buy so I think we will do wine, beer, and 2 signature drinks so it cuts down on what we buy (our venue supplies the mixes, glasses, and garnishes) this is one big cost saver for us because we get to choose what to purchase compaired to the venue charging $40 per person for an open bar!
I love the idea! I could easily pick out a drink for myself but hubby to be really isn't a drinker so his drink would be something like beer which doesn't have the same appeal lol
We had thought about it but couldn't come up with anything. We like so many different things and we weren't sure at first if we were going to do a cash bar or not so we ended up not doing it.
What made you choose those drinks? Are you going to give them a personalized name?

I've been debating them, I love the idea but just can't decide! I think I'll see what my venue suggests when we have our details meeting
