Signature Drinks.

Wow, these are all so amazing. I'm doing a signature drink but I just needed to pop in and say

No signature drinks for us... I do have a sign, however, given to me for my bridal shower, that has the song lyric, "You be my glass of wine, I'll be your shot of whiskey". We'll be putting it on the bar. I drink white wine, my FH drinks Crown.

I used to bartend, and I would follow the other's suggestions, go with the basics of something that tastes good, and adjust for theme/colour... rather than ending up with a funky tasting drink, or something way too strong!

Start out with what you love or if you drink a certain liquor all the time. we are big vodka and rye drinkers. so if we do a signature drink. it will definitely have one of those in it.

Our main signature drink is going to be champagne with a splash of blue curacao and pineapple juice! It'll end up looking like the drink in the picture below! We might also add our go-to drinks (vodka 7 and whiskey sour) to the signature drink list as well!

Our drink is called "The Peacock" to tie in with our theme!

We are having two signature drinks!

White Wedding - 1 oz vodka, 1 oz elderflower liquor, splash of lime juice, white cranberry juice. SO yummy - at our cocktail tasting, every single person rated this one a 9 or a 10.

Blushing bride - 1 oz peach schnapps, splash of grenadine, champagne. Again, at our cocktail tasting, this rated an average of about 8.5.

It's a bit too light for a name like Midnight, I think... What about Stardust? Or even just Starry Night could be a nice name. Blue Moon? Blue Sky? Wild Blue Yonder (both a reference to the sky and looking to the future)?

Or Something Blue!!!! Not starry theme, but definitely wedding theme!

Either way, looks like a great cocktail! I'm sure you'll come up with the perfect name!

We don't have anything just yet but if we do then we will either just pick our go-to drinks and name them after us or we will make them up with our favourite alc.

Also! I just asked the venue if the bar can provide the mixed drink (which they can!) We will just have to bring the blue sugar for the rim and shimmer dust!!

We are doing the attached picture!! Its vodka mixed with blue raspberry mixer and sparkling water with a sugar rim!!! Very simple!!! We also have a shimmer dust to put in to make the drink sparkle to go with our theme!! Just gotta think of a name for it!
