Shuttling Guests

Hi there Smiley smile

I will be getting married in September 2019, and want to arrange for shuttles for my guests. The wedding is 30 minutes outside of Collingwood, and the hotel guests will stay at is in Collingwood.


Does anyone have suggestions of companies to use? Average rates? Booking through the hotel vs. private?


Open to any and all advice Smiley smile

    Oooooh. I looooove Collingwood and area. It'll be PERFECT up there that time of year. I thought about Collingwood as well, but decided on Belleville in the end.

    Anyway, I ran a Conference at Blue Mountain last April and we used school buses to shuttle people. I can't remember the name of the company, but they were pretty inexpensive, I think. I'll check and get back to you.

    FYI, there's only ONE cab company currently operating in Collingwood, so keep that in mind (you may want to call them ahead of time to let them know when/where your event is happening).

    Dannel Transportation, they were amazing to deal with! They showed up on time (early) for each trip as well!

    Which or where did you find school bus shuttles. We are getting married in NOTL and looking to find school busses as well.

    We booked with a school bus company and found that they have us pretty good prices!

    Yes! Check for school buses... Some places rent them out much cheaper than any other shuttle option.

    Check the Transportation vendors here on WeddingWire, or just Google private event shuttles for that area.

    You should google search transportation and compare compare for their pricing. Go with the best choice you like.

    I don't know about specifically in Collingwood, but we are getting married in Niagara Falls and found it much more cost efficient to rent school buses to shuttle our guests
