My fiancée and I are in the funeral industry so obviously we chose a cemetery as the setting for our engagement shoot.

I love that you brought a whole suitcase of props! I'm the same way! I'd rather be over-prepared and end up not using things than under-prepared and say "I wish I'd brought that!"

And thanks, everyone told me I was crazy for bringing so many “props” (I had to bring a whole suitcase lol). But like you, we wanted our pictures to be of US and have our personalities be all over them!

Aw thank you! We are definitely more urban than nature people so we wanted our engagement photos to reflect that. I didn't want to be doing something in the pics that we'd never do in real life like tandem bike riding or standing in a field of wheat haha.

I love the engagement pic you did where you were reading and your fiance was gaming! We thought about doing something similar because we're the same way! And that you incorporated your dog! We wanted to as well but it didn't work out so I'm envious!

Where is everyone's engagement pics?! Haha I'll share some of mine then. We have a friend who is an amazing photographer and offered to do them for us. He lives in San Diego so we drove down there and made a day of it. It was so much fun! It was more like we were exploring the city and stopping to take pics here and there. We really wanted an urban feel and we loved the locations that he found for us! (And our friend will be coming to the wedding but as a guest, not our photographer!)

We got so many amazing shots but these were some of our faves.
