Should the Bride have a Dance Card?

Brae, on April 29, 2022 at 11:34 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 4

We are organizing our own music for our wedding and there are songs that I'd like to dance with certain people. Should I create a dance card so that if anyone else wants to dance with me they can choose a song that's not already taken?

Love the song selection for others to dance though it would feel way to long and the husband not getting his time in there.

The songs can be played by the DJ once the guests have put their song selection on the card. This way everyone gets to enjoy dancing and their song too.

This is kinda cool! My fiancé & i were discussing this very thing today. We have certain songs we want to dance together to and I was thinking of a way to ensure that. I'm thinking of getting the DJ involved.

My dad isn't much for dancing in front of people so I put in a song for us later on so that he will be more at ease. And I have song that I want to dance with my best friend and a few song I'd like to dance with my groom that have meaning for us

But I may just be over planning at his point lol

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing this. Are you planning on having many more dances then just the typical first dance and father/daughter dance?
