Shoes

I ordered mine from Amazon but I needed to find an extra wide shoe for my feet that tend to swell. Plus, I can't wear high heels anymore so I had to find something that was an E width, gold in colour, and low heel!! The stores didn't have anything like that and wide shoes are hard to find. Then I had difficulty getting into the shoes because my left foot swelled. So I just went on Varage Sale and found a pair of gold flats in very good condition and half a size larger. Best $10.00 I ever spent!!

I know you may think this sounds weird but have you tried wish? I got my shoes from there and I think they are cute and not expensive. The only thing is you have to give the items time to arrive.

Le Chateau has some pretty lovely shoes. They're definately a go to for fancy. Make sure to break them in before the day though. Hehe.

Scour the internet is probably your best option. Lots of great companies out there to choose from for shoes. Try amazon as well, crazy amounts of things you can find on there. Also, go check out all the malls in your city.

Or maybe take some of your BMs for a shopping trip at an outlet mall in US

That sounds like a good compromise so that your grandma feels like her grand-daughter is a princess at her wedding :-)

Definitely wear the cowboy boots after the ceremony and for you couple only pics, especially if that's a you guys thing.

Etsy for sizing really depends on what you find. It can be hit or miss if you have no idea how certain shoes fit whether TTS or not. I'd use Etsy as more of a search for what you find cute and then see if you can find something comparable locally that you can try on. Chelsey's suggestion of LeChateau is a good one. And the good news is that siler/gold shoes are rather the in thing at the moment, so there's lots to find at all the usual shoe stores (Aldo, Brown's, Spring, SoftMoc, etc.).

I got my shoes from Le Chateau! I am not sure if you want shoes or heels but the heels at Le Chateau were super cute and they had a nice selection!

I wanted to wear my cowboy boots because thats just who we are as a couple, BUT my grandma nearly had a heart attack when I told her that. I want something for the ceremony that's 'pretty', then after I'll change into my boots!

Is Etsy true to size? I've never ordered anything from there.

What do you have in mind as "cute"?

I'm going with Converse because there are so many to choose from (including custom made ones), they're comfy, and I can wear them after the wedding too.

A great source for all things unique is Etsy. You'd be amazed what you can find there and at the very least it can give you some ideas.
