I totally know what you mean! I have a habit of ruining my husband's little surprises on accident because we're always on the same page (He would planning to surprise me with ice cream and I'd be like "hey we should get ice cream tonight") but when it came to the proposal, I had NO clue! That's so perfect though! Kudos to him for still being able to surprise you!

November 3rd actually!

It was the begining of November at my family's cottage!

Actually we have already been living together already for over a year. I took a break from school for a about a year and a half because I was offered full time work in the field I wanted and it was close to home So as soon as I landed that job we moved in together. He still lives there, but I am currently back on the island finishing my last semester of my degree and then hopefully no more long distance once I am done!

Right now I see him every couple of weeks. Just depends on our schedules and what we have going on. Travelling across the ferries isnt cheap so we avoid making trips every weekend. Usually every 2 or 3 weeks? Its not so bad this time because its only a 4 month stretch.

It's too bad that you have to live in two different locations during your studies. Do you see each other during the weekend? Do you have plans to move in together after the wedding?

Congrats Chloe!! When did you two get engaged? Was this last summer?

Thanks! We have been dating for 5 valentine days... But have really only celebrated it once in our first year. Every year since then we have not been living in the same location (i have been living 4 hours away for university) and since valentines usually falls mid week i dont even get to see him. Neither of us really care though- not huge valentines fans

Thank you so much! Thankfully, our home wasn't affected by the wildfire but many of our friends homes were lost It was an incredible adventure. We tried to make the best of our time together and were just so thankful that we were together, safe. We met so many wonderful, generous people!! The support our city received will never be forgotten. I only had time to pack 2 changes of clothes each for us. Bootlegger and Reitmans offered amazing discounts to evacuees so this is a photo of us in some fresh clothes treating ourselves to a night out in Edmonton...lol 💜
