I like that 3 dimensional items fit in shaddow boxes so I would put a flower from your bouquet or boutonniere, maybe a few corks from toasts, along with invites or photos. Depending on the shape and size of the box you might be able to fit your whole bouquet in, or cake topper etc.
I have one with vintage skeleton keys my mom and I found when she dragged me antique hunting. I wired them onto thick paper, but if you're ok with it you could glue things.

I have my bouquet and my husbands boutonnière drying while we are on our honeymoon. So once we get home I am going to make one with both of those.
My mother in law did a shadow box with our invitation. It looks beautiful! I think those are the 2 most important pieces that we wanted to keep. But you could honestly do anything. And michaels has so many different sized shadow boxes

Definitely check out Michaels and other craft stores.

Shadow boxes come in variety of sizes and styles. The way to know what to order based on items putting into your box. Get the measurement of length x width. Create your ideas in different ways of photos, wedding cards and more in the set up desired when put together as an idea. Amazon site is also great for shadow boxes if you want to save on price (which I find better than michaeals being higher retail wise.

Michaels or any type of craft store like that should have shadow boxes for sure. I know a lot of people include their invitation in the shadow box. Depending on the size of the box you could put a preserved bouquet in there or if it's smaller some petals/flowers from the bouquet. The groom boutonniere if you're having one. A ceremony program or dinner menu if you have them. Some nice pictures from the wedding
