Hi everyone, I just notice the service tips are not charged on the bill by the venue.

Our venue told me to pay service tips to the head server if I would like to do so.

How much should I tip? there will be 3-4 server and 1 bartender on my wedding day.

How much did you guys tip for your servers?

Please help! thanks!

    yes i’m gonna give our servers $40 each server and bartender. Thanks so much for your advice. Smiley smile

    You're going to have 3-4 servers take care of approximately 80 people. That's around 20-27 guests per server. It's a lot of work! I'd say if you're pleased with the service, your guests are happy, and everything went well, tip them well. $30-$40 a server would be a really nice tip for a good job done.

    How many guests are you having? Unfortunately I forget where I found a tipping cheat sheet on how much to tip the servers and bartenders Smiley sad

    I think $20 per server is good, maybe the bartender a little more since they are there longer ($30)

    Thanks! our reception is from 6-10:30pm, cocktail 4-6pm. is $20 per server enough?

    I have heard that around 20$ a person is a good service too for weddings, but ultimately the choice is yours depending on how long they are there and how much they do
