September Honeymoon

I went to jamaica in september it didnt rain at all!

You could always do a mini-moon, and then wait until November. I've always avoided hurricane season in the Caribbean.
We're going to Costa Rica, and I think they're well below the hurricane belt.

If you’re looking for a Caribbean destination - Aruba. My FSIL and her husband did 2 weeks at a Riu in Aruba when they got married 2 September’s ago.


They loved it and have amazing things to say about it.

Europe in the fall is lovely. I've done England, Paris, Scotland, and Ireland in mid-late September and had great weather. If you still want beachy try Spain, or southern Italy. We're hoping to go away after our wedding in October so I know exactly what you're dealing with!


If you do decide to go south get travel insurance (or get it no matter where you go!) One of my coworkers daughters had their honeymoon ruined by a hurricane and they ended up paying for the whole vacation plus their emergency flights after only 2 days of vacation.

That would depend on what kind of honeymoon you're looking for. Do you want a beach getaway or more of an adventurous type, or a combination of the two? For September, my vote would be either New Zealand or Italy. New Zealand is amazing in the springtime and the people there are so friendly, and you really can't beat some of the views. The beauty of New Zealand is that it can be a relaxing vacay as well as an exciting adventure. Italy is great in September because you'll miss all the bustling crowds that comes with the summer tourists and some of the beaches are almost deserted but the temperature is still warm enough for beach days. Then you can experience all the history too if you feel so inclined, and the food! I'd move to Italy just to eat there every day

Depending on your budget, Europe in September can be fantastic! Younger students who would be travelling are back in school, the weather is cooling down from how hot and sticky it is in the summer, but it's still pleasantly warm! Italy or anything along the Amalfi is beautiful and romantic.
