Separate dinner/dancing areas

Hi Everyone,
I am in the midst of doing some wedding planning here and I am having a hard time sorting out the logistics of separate dinner/dancing areas.
For context, we are getting married on our farm. We will have our dinner in one of our structures, but unfortunately there will not be room for a dance floor. We have rented a tent that will hold our dance floor , and will set that up in a space approximately 50ish feet away from where we will have our dinner.
1) Where would be the best space to set up the DJ? We’ll need them for dinner, when we plan to have speeches and to play music over the span of the meal. But then of course we want them in the dance tent when that kicks off? I am doubtful they will move locations.2) Any suggestions for first dances? To minimize people having to move it would be easiest to do after cocktail hour and perhaps have our guests greet us over at the dance tent before moving into dances and then heading in for dinner, but that would be a long time for everyone to remain standing.
I will take ANY suggestions or experiences anyone wants to share. Happy to hear the best way to set up our dance tent or would love some help with the challenge!
Thanks a bunch Smiley smile

Speeches don't require a major set up. Ask the DJ if they have a standard PA and mic setup for that purpose while they reserve the major setup for the dance party.

Are you hosting cocktail hour under the tent in the dance area? If so, I would have your grand entrance and first dance there.
