Hey Becca! Have you already tried the Table Planner on our website? I think you could find it useful. It can give you an idea of the space you'll use, where to put your tables and who will sit where.

Well good then! I did really like AllSeated, but I just hated entering in all my info twice and I really just wanted to keep it all on the same site, so I made due with WW's shortcomings.

I agree with Val! Talk to your venue first because the layout will depend on the amount of tables they have, how far apart they need to be spaced, fire code requirements, etc. Once you decide on a setup with them, you can use WW to build a similar design and make table assignments for your guests. You really don't need to start assigning seats though until you get your RSVPs back because it may be different than your expectations. We ended up with half the number of guests that we invited so we had to make some adjustments to our room setup.

While your venue will have experience with weddings, don't be afraid to ask them to change things if you want! The worst they can do is say no and at least you'll have asked and will know why it has to be done that way so you don't regret it later. We asked them to move our dancefloor from where they normally set it and it worked out great!

I love the wedding wire apps seating plan (though I wish it let me put objects like polls and the dance floor in). Another good website is All Seated. Also, you should check with your venue for Floorplan suggestions. They've likely seen their fair share of layouts over the years and should have some suggestions for you
