So, what’s everyone doing for a seating chart? I have a limited time frame.

Seating plan printed on a design board of your choice is something to consider given you do have the information put on the WW seating plan and printed. A printing company can be helpful to get the size you want and names printed on it.

DIY project is another creative way to make your own. Taking something old such a door or window and making your own printed version to make it original. A stand strong enough to hold the chart would help.

The two ways to list your guests depending on your choice:

    1. Alphabetical as suggested by couples names and individuals

    2. Table Number/name of guests seated at that table.

If you go on the wedding wire website on a laptop it has a seating chart. You can move the tables and the people, you can also change it to list mode. Which puts all the people at table 1 in a list and all the people at table 2 and so forth. So it kinda makes the chart itself. I really like it cause I'm a visual person. Seeing all the people at the tables helped me arrange them better.

If you print name cards instead of a giant seating chart, it's quicker and cheaper. Just print them in a format along the lines of FirstName LastName - TableNumber and then arrange them by alphabetical order on the guest table. You can buy perforated folding cards at Staples and they work on most inkjet printers.
