rsvp Confirmations

Malvika, on April 29, 2018 at 22:14 Posted in Before the wedding 0 7

Hello All,

We sent out our wedding invites to people about 1 year in advance since people were travelling from India and US to Canada and had to book tickets and make arrangements in advance. A lot of people sent an RSVP. Now we would like to send out confirmations to make sure that everything is in order and they are actually going to make it. This would be like a confirmation to their RSVP done about a year earlier. We are about 46 days from the wedding (Super scared)

Has anyone done that? I am having a hard time wording this email... HELPPPPPPPP

The only confirmation needed is the families travelling information to make transportation pick ups by family members in the house or by bus. Your going to be fine and everything will work out fine

In the email have like an invitation style. You can say "We are so excited to see you on (wedding date) at (wedding location). The ceremony will begin at (time) followed by (the rest of your plans, cocktail.. reception.. etc). You can check into your hotel (hotel name) at (check in time) (add any other information about accomodations)" then you can add anything else you want to remind them of and at the end you can say, "if you for some reason are no longer able to attend our wedding, please let us know before (pick a date), you will be missed on our special day" then end it with "Once again we are so excited to see you on (wedding date)"

Maybe send out an email with the itinerary, as a friendly gesture that way had someone forgot to rsvp or notify you of changes, it’ll peak their memory!
