rsvp

Meghan, on November 3, 2021 at 11:05 Posted in Before the wedding 0 31

Hey ladies for your guests to RSVP are you having them RSVP through your wedding website? or are you doing the traditional way with having a card in the invitation for them to send back to you? TIA

We have our website on the knot which I found to be way easier to create and guests to view than wedding wires wedding website.
The guests can rsvp on that website I get notification when someone rsvps to my phone.
We sent save the dates in October through snail mail (we sent them a bit early because our family lives all over Canada and the states so it’s a bit of a destination wedding ) on the save the date it says more information about travel and rsvp visit out website. We will send our invitations in July through snail mail (wedding is September 2022) with the same rsvp website information on the card as what was on the save the date.

We are sending out Save The Date cards with our wedding website for all of the tech savvy guests, as well as a few invitations to the "older" generations in our family who may not be comfortable on the computer or have internet access.

So true! Everything I've read has said don't sent things out (invites or RSVPs) around the Christmas season, wait until after in January

But guests don't keep the RSVP cards? 🙃 you can still do a paper invitation and have them rsvp through a website, this is what we are doing.

Ugh but who's on the receiving end of all those phone call RSVPs? Lol, it certainly wouldn't be me getting 100s of calls, that would stress me right out plus take so much time if the guest then has a whole conversation with you 😂

Website because I'm simply to cheap to pay for additional stationary for am RSVP card plus envelopes and postage, when I have a literal free (and good) option right here where all my other planning is. It's a no brainer for me lol

We are doing online RSVP! Traditional save the date and invitations card, but they have to go online or call us to rsvp.

We're doing online RSVP's. With Christmas coming, we don't want the RSVP's to get lost in the mail!

Ou wonderful! If you have the time to do it definitely! I went with e-vites because it's in 30 days and planning time was only 2 months haha, I would have chosen traditional too, it's so elegant and a forever souvenir Smiley smile!

I think i'm leaning more towards that way also! We're about 50/50 between young guests and older guests

I just sent the link out on e-vite! I customized it all and added rsvp's and it's super simple to track guests Smiley laugh! I tried with the website, but was too time consuming
