Restaurant Reception?

We've decided to change our venue.

We found a little inn which specializes in intimate weddings and the reception hall is gorgeous.

Best of all, the inn is only 3o minutes from the church. The 30 mins will eat up some of the infamous Catholic gap. Our gap is only 1 hour which is pretty good compared to some weddings I've attended.

My hubby is from New Brunswick! When I see the costs of wedding meals down there, I am consumed with jealousy because they are so reasonable.

I know that I can decorate my restaurant and I'm sure I can bring my cake. I'm not sure about music options because I haven't sat down with the manager yet. We just want to use our computer and speakers since it's such a small group.

I also am doing a restaurant reception. Less than 60 guests and it’s going to be perfect for us. The hall is included with 25+ people...meals are 17.99 and less & it’s intimate and the food is DELICIOUS! We can decorate the night before. Bring music and our cake, it’s everything we wanted

I would've done it had it not been for most of my favourite restaurants not only being expensive, but in the downtown area of Toronto!

Sounds perfect for small amount of guests and not spending more than needed. Plus it will be private and closed for your occasion. Enjoy your Reception.

That makes sense. I think restaurants are best suited for intimate weddings....unless the restaurant is very large.

I wanted to do this! Unfortunately our guest list began to grow to the point where this was an unrealistic option for us.
