Rehearsal Dinner Questions

Hello!

Our Wedding is July 1st, 2022, it is coming soo quickly!

I am kind of lost when it comes to the rehearsal dinner. To put it simply, what do I do?!

My in-laws are covering dinner, we have a spot to do it, but I just don't know what we are actually supposed to cover in terms of rehearsing that night, and if there is anything extra you would suggest doing?

    First off, congrats on your upcoming day!

    The dinner can be as casual or as formal/structured as you want it to be. Some people make it an event, others just want to share a meal with people involved in the wedding as thanks. The main thing is to work with the venue and officiant on how things will play out for the ceremony.

    Typically the rehearsal dinner is just a dinner after your ceremony rehearsal

    Usually your officiant will be there to go over what to rehearse and then you have dinner and people can give speeches or just have a nice dinner together!

    We have a spot to do it, it will be where we are camping at our wedding site. I am more wondering about the contents and planning that needs to happen for a rehearsal dinner, what gets talked about, etc.
