Registy Ideas

I think if you already have everything you need thinking about upgrades is a good idea. Also just anything you’d like to have but have been putting off buying for various reasons. Some of the upgrades we asked for were linen bedding, bath sheets, better plates/bowls, knives, coffee maker. These are all things we would have upgraded eventually but just kept putting off. I also highly recommend an air fryer if you don’t already have one.
Another thing I’ll probably add to our list for when we do our reception is a dyson vacuum.

This is what we have on ours! Lol I got a lot of ideas from going through other peoples gift lists. We are upgrading quite a few kitchen things and things around the house on the registry.

Don't forget paint! Find a good paint shop and see if they have gift cards. Different primer + 2 coats on a house wall adds up.

This is hard if you don't already have a house but things like faucet upgrades, shower head upgrades, ceiling light (especially if the house comes with a boob light lol), lamps, bedding (if you're getting a new and bigger bed), floor boards - basically anything that will cost you to upgrade the house itself to your liking.

Our registry was simply upgrades of what we already have and some additions as we have been in our home we own for 4 years. My list of "musts" is really long so not sure if this will help 🤣
- good vacuum; we got the Dyson v11 Absolute (omg I'm obsessed)- sous-vide (you'll never eat better meat... We went with a lower priced one; Instant Pot) - if you're not a meat eater - oops, skip this one. - air fryer; we didn't want another appliance so got the instant pot lid that converts the Instant Pot - also OBSESSED - recommend the Instant Pot too If you don't have it... It all basically lives on our counter we use it so much- good blender/food processor; we got a Vitamix - knife block but only the knives you need; we got the Zwilling Pro 8 piece- steak knives; we got the Zwilling- serving dishes and utensils; we registered for a variety that matched or work well together (also added a price variation)
This is a good time to update or upgrade sheets, towels, dishes and cutlery if you want/need to. We had a fancy Nespresso on our registry but ended up buying it at the beginning of the pandemic for ourselves 😅. We already had a KitchenAid stand mixer (usually a registry staple) but if you don't need something quite like that I'd definitely recommend a hand held that has an immersion blender and mixer attachment!
Even if you don't think you'd be gifted some of the stuff - put it on the registry. Highly recommend Bed Bath and Beyond - they offer a completion discount of 20% after and it works on all items, including the ones their normal coupon doesn't work on. We used MyRegsitry.com and loved that we could compile items from various places. Willing to share ours if you want to have a look!
